"It Adds Character"

Hannah loves to paint!  She worked really hard on this painting, but left it out on the screened in porch overnight.  It rained all night, so now it is spotted.  She was bummed, but I told her that it just "adds character" to her painting.  That's what my mom always told me.

My mom always used that statement with me.  If I complained about anything... such as, washing the dishes... she would just say, "It adds character".

Love this photo!

I love this photo of my family!  This photo was taken in August 2008 in Baltimore, MD at the Inner Harbor.  The girls are so pretty and growing way too quickly... and Neal is still a cutie!  Always will be!
