sports camp 2008

Sports Camp 2008 has come and gone!  All the hard work paid off.  It was an awesome week... Kids learned about God's Game Plan (Jeremiah 29:11) for their lives!  The week was full of excited kids, dedicated volunteers, and lots of fun activities!
Sarah was on the Rec Staff... she was a great helper.   Hannah had fun being a kid!  She is going into 6th grade this year.  (Can you believe that?)
Whew!

conspire conference

Adelle (my handy dandy assistant/friend) and I had an awesome time in the windy city of Chicago @ Willow Creek's Conspire Children's Conference! We were really inspired by the awesome speakers and workshops.
We had pizza at Lou Malnat's Pizzeria, saw the first pre-screening of the American Girl movie - Kit Kittredge (it was FREE w/FREE soda and popcorn!), took a quick tour of Navy Pier, walked A LOT, drove a fun rental car, and taxied the runway on our plane over an hour before flying home! We had a blast... we were "blown away"!
ha ha!

friends

We had a great time visiting with friends last week during our visit to TN. We never get as much time with friends as we like, but we are still blessed for the time that we've had! We love you guys!

lots to do!

Wednesday night was our very first Family Fusion Fun Night! Everything went great... the music, dramas, games, and especially the WORD! Thanks to all the ministry teams that participated to make this new ministry possible!

We will begin Sports Camp at our church this coming Monday... June 23 !
I am so excited about the great time we will have next week! We just have some last minute things to do... pray for my sanity!
Yeah!!!

a visit home

The girls and I are visiting with family in Tennessee this week.  My dad had surgery today, and everything went great!  The surgeon removed all of the cancer!  I am so thankful to God for taking such good care of my Dad.

Monday was a full day of spending time with family.  We visited with Neal's parents, Grandpa Greg and Grandma Carol Pullins.  We also spent time at the nursing home with Grandma Meredith.  As an added bonus, Grandma Carol and Aunt Donna were there also!  After leaving the nursing home, we headed to Mom and Dad's house in Pikeville, TN.  (via Jersey Mike's for my favorite sandwich!)

The above photos are of the girls having fun in Mom and Dad's pool on Monday.
